Ordering Procedure
1. Please submit a very clear, good size photo. The face you want drawn should be 2" minimum with the whites of the eyes (if open) clearly visible. The quality and focus of your submitted photo is directly related to the detail of finished portrait. You can send a photo by email or by mail (email me for shipping address) along with detailed instructions. You may also include a brief description of subject's personality, as it helps bring character to the portrait.
2. Contact me here or at (207)-782-7931 to discuss details (size, etc.) and final payment price.
3. Once payment is made (check has cleared), your portrait order will be scheduled and estimated completion date will be given. Turnaround is approximately 2-3 weeks and determined by my workload.
* Rush orders are available, upon request for an additional fee.
4. Once your portrait is completed, you will be emailed a preview. The preview may be watermarked, however your finished portrait will not. Your portrait will be sprayed with a fixative to prevent yellowing and smudging before shipping. Any submitted photos will be returned to you along with your portrait which will complete the sale.
A hand drawn portrait is a work of art and is an artistic inpretation of a photograph ~ not a replica.
